免疫衰老的调控及致病机制

研究内容

    生理衰老的过程中,免疫系统最先开始发生衰老。免疫衰老会导致免疫细胞出现功能失衡,主要体现为外周适应性免疫细胞或固有免疫细胞增殖、活化或分化异常,组织内固有免疫细胞发生炎性功能失衡等,这种由衰老导致的免疫失衡是诱发自身免疫病、肿瘤、神经退行性疾病等衰老相关疾病的关键,因此,解析免疫衰老的调控作用及致病机制对于应对人口老龄化、及衰老相关疾病的认知与诊治具有重要意义。我们主要聚焦衰老的免疫调控,利用遗传突变小鼠及相应病理模型,结合临床病人样品,主要研究:
1. 衰老机体的免疫学特征
2. 衰老导致机体免疫失衡的分子机理
3. 免疫衰老调控相关慢性疾病的作用机制
